Exploring is a unique and exciting opportunity for youth who have graduated from the eighth grade and are between the ages of 14 and 20. Exploring provides young men and women with experiences, skills, and opportunities to explore careers and lifetime interests. Explorers will learn, experience, be challenged, and make new friends.
Exploring exists to accomplish a major goal: To provide the structure and resources needed for the youth of America to learn about career opportunities, to make ethical choices, and to achieve their full potential as individuals. By partnering with local businesses, organizations, and government agencies, we help provide our youth with the tools to be proven leaders in the career field of their choice. The program is specifically designed to incorporate the following experience areas: Career Opportunities, Life Skills, Service Learning, Character Education, and Leadership Experience.
